In the heart of Baguio City, well-known as the "Summer Capital of the Philippines" is a disgusting river wherein nearby residential houses and commercial establishments consider it as a second rubbish bin.

This reality now led to the starting rise of movements by some concerned individuals and advocate groups. But, just having cleanup drives, even how regularly they may be done, is not enough to effect a significant reduction of waste accumulated in and along the river. There must also be house-to-house seminars on proper waste management, campaigns for the government to take corrective and fast action towards the river's rehabilitation.

In response to this, I want to help in this mission by taking advantage of my degree and the connections I have. I cannot design an innovation that enables the ease of collecting significant amounts of trash in the river alone. Thus, I am proposing this project because I believe in this mission, it only starts to impact change when you stir varieties of minds that unite together in a common stand.
